We had an amazing experience at a charming hostel in the beautiful West Coast. The location was absolutely fabulous, with stunning views and a short walk to a picturesque beach. We were lucky to have sunny weather during our stay, which made it feel like paradise on earth. The hostel provided all the necessary equipment for cooking our own meals, making it convenient and budget-friendly. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome. we would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable getaway.

The location was stunning, with beautiful views of the sea and mountains. the accommodation, especially the pod we stayed in, was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Ruth and John, the hosts, were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome. the peacefulness of the place was just what we needed, and we enjoyed lovely walks on the beach and exploring the surrounding area. the bed was comfortable, and I had no trouble falling asleep despite being a light sleeper. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were also excellent. Cons: Nothing for me. 👍.

The location of the hostel was absolutely stunning, with a beautiful walk down to the beach and breathtaking views of the Summer Isles. the wooden pods were clean, warm, and cozy, with underfloor heating and even a shower in the bathroom. the host, Ruth, was extremely welcoming and helpful, ensuring the hostel was in immaculate condition.
It was a bit inconvenient to have to make multiple trips to and from the car due to the distance between the parking space and the hostel.

acheninver exceeded all expectations - cleanest place i've stayed, spacious cabin with great kitchenette, underfloor heating, and wifi. perfect location to relax, amazing views, and lots of hiking/cycling options.
Only one toilet - not ideal in heavy rain.

I had the most amazing stay at Acheninver! The location was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the sea and a peaceful river nearby. I stayed in one of the newly built pods and it had a cosy Swedish cabin vibe that I adored. The underfloor heating was a godsend after a long day of exploring the coast for my archaeology research. The shower had perfect water pressure and the kitchen had all the necessary amenities. The highlight for me was falling asleep to the calming sound of the nearby burn. I highly recommend this unique and comfortable hostel for anyone looking for a memorable and scenic getaway.

I recently stayed at Acheninver in Achiltibuie for a few nights and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The hostel is located in a stunningly beautiful area, with amazing views that are worth the hike to get there. The hostel itself is a charming old croft cottage, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds in the dorm. The new owners/managers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering tea, coffee, and biscuits upon arrival. It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peacefulness of the surroundings.

We recently had our second stay at Acheninver pods and we can't wait to go back again. The peaceful location and breathtaking views of the Summer Isles and Torridon mountains are simply stunning. The spacious pods with their own shower rooms were a little slice of heaven after a day of exploring. The facilities, including great WiFi, a fantastic shower, and a well-equipped kitchen, were top-notch. The remote and rugged setting, with a beautiful river and stunning beach, made for a wet and wild adventure.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

A perfect escape from the city, I spent two unforgettable nights in this cozy hostel. Set in a stunning location with a mesmerizing view of the Loch, it was a slice of heaven after exploring the wilderness. The facilities were brilliant, including great wifi, powerful showers, and excellent kitchen equipment. What made it truly special was the unique shower in a shed and a dedicated room to dry clothes overnight. Meeting fellow travelers around the communal table, I enjoyed mouthwatering pancakes and delicious fudge brownies courtesy of a kind Danish patron. a fabulous experience filled with warm memories.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
